Flagstick Games (“the App”) is a golf games and scorecard app for friend groups and trips, provided by Clutch Apps (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information the App uses and what we do with it.
Flagstick Games keeps your group, player, course, and round data on your device by default. We do not require accounts for everyday play. Limited data leaves the device only if you choose features that need a network (for example course search, optional location ranking for nearby courses, sharing, or purchases), as described below.
The App stores the following locally on your device (for example in on-device storage / SQLite):

Course search may call a course data provider so you can pick tees, slope, rating, and hole details. Those requests include the search terms or course identifiers you choose.
Nearby course ranking is optional. If you allow location for “Near you,” the App may send a one-shot location to rank library courses. It is not continuous tracking and is not on-course GPS maps.
If you use camera or photo features (for example photographing a paper scorecard or handicap card for on-device text recognition), processing is intended to happen on your device. We do not upload those photos to our servers for everyday import unless a future feature clearly says otherwise.
If you use a share or invite link feature when it becomes available, the App may send round or group data needed to create that link to our website at flagstickgames.com so another player can open or import it. Do not share links that contain information you are not comfortable sharing.
If Flagstick Games offers optional purchases through the App Store, Apple processes payment. We may use a subscription status provider to confirm whether a purchase is active. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Flagstick Games is intended for recreational golfers and trip organizers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Flagstick Games account system, because everyday play does not use accounts. Information you enter is stored on your device under your control, except when you use a network feature described above.
The App may interact with Apple (App Store, iOS), course data providers, hosting used for our website (for example Vercel for flagstickgames.com), and any purchase status provider we attach later. Those providers process data under their own policies when you use their services.
Because group, round, and preference data live on your device, you can remove them in the App or by deleting the App from your device. Shared links you create may remain reachable until they are no longer hosted. Apple keeps purchase records under its own policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
